How do our loans work?

Student Loans
  1. Step 0

Students accepted at a post graduate or professional qualification course fill-in a simple form with their details.

  2. Step 1

Lendwise analyses the data and if successful, sends a funding proposal with proposed amount, interest rate and repayment schedule.

  3. Step 2

If the student accepts our proposal, finalises the required information for proceeding with the loan agreement.

  4. Step 3

Lendwise uploads the loan on the primary market place.

  5. Step 4

Investors fund diversified loan parts either manually or via an auto-invest robot.

  6. Step 5

Lendwise disburses the loan according to the pre-agreed plan for payment of fees directly to the university and on a monthly basis for living expenses.

  7. Step 6

Student starts repayment of loan and investors receive capital and interest payments (depending on type of course and duration of loan, repayments may start up to 6 months following graduation).
